We’re excited to announce the start of JASO’s Traditional Craft Workshop Series this February!
Each month, we’ll explore and celebrate Japanese traditional crafts. This month, we’re featuring Tsumami Zaiku.
************************************************
Tsumami Kanzashi (つまみかんざし) is a traditional Japanese craft that dates back to the Edo period (1603–1868). It involves folding small square pieces of fabric to create intricate flowers and other designs, often used as hair ornaments for special occasions. Today, this beautiful technique is also used to craft jewelry, keychains, and more.

Let’s create a Tsumami Zaiku keychain and a heart Tsumami Zaiku card for your loved one or yourself this Valentine's Day♡
A big thank you to Tamashii Ramen House for supporting us in hosting this workshop!
